What we collect during verification

When you verify your Discord account through Double Counter, we process your Discord user ID and username, your IP address, and technical browser data. This data is used for one purpose: detecting alternate accounts, VPNs and proxies to protect the Discord servers you are joining.

How it is used

Verification records are matched against our detection database to determine whether an account is an alt or is hiding behind a VPN. Server staff of the community you verify for can see the outcome (verified, alt, VPN) — never your IP address itself. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request the data associated with your Discord ID, or its full deletion, at any time. Data deletion removes all personally identifiable information from our database and unverifies you from the servers you were verified in. To exercise these rights, use the /privacy command of the bot or contact us on our support server or at [email protected].

Consent

By clicking a Double Counter verification link, you consent to the collection and processing described above. If you do not consent, do not complete the verification — you can leave the server instead.
