Got questions?

The most common questions about Double Counter. Need more? Drop in the support server — we read every message.

Is Double Counter free?
Yes. Double Counter is free forever for the vast majority of communities. Only three minor settings are gated behind the optional Pro plan, which is billed directly through Discord.
How does Double Counter detect alt accounts?
We compare dozens of anonymized datapoints — device, browser, network, and behavioral signals — against millions of curated records collected since 2020. The algorithm achieves a 98% detection rate while preserving user privacy.
How long does verification take?
Median time from join to verdict is three seconds. Most users won't notice anything — verification can run in the background depending on your selected mode.
Does Double Counter respect user privacy?
Yes. Verification is privacy-respecting by design. Member data is anonymized, and we comply with global data-protection requirements. Read more in our privacy policy.
Can I customize the verification flow?
Absolutely. Choose between three verification modes — on join, on click, or fully automated screening — plus role assignment, auto-ban rules, and custom alerts. Pro adds embed customization and timeout control.
Will it block legitimate users by mistake?
False positives are rare and decreasing every quarter. You have full control: review every flag, fine-tune sensitivity, choose between local and global databases, and set up custom whitelisting rules.
What's included in the Pro plan?
Pro includes: ad-free verification, custom verification embeds and timeouts, DC Fingerprinting analytics, cross-database checks, and Discord-native contextual right-click actions.
Where is Double Counter hosted?
We run on continuously load-tested infrastructure with 24/7 monitoring and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Status is publicly available at status.doublecounter.gg.
Who is behind Double Counter?
Double Counter is built and maintained by Tellter. We've been protecting Discord communities since 2020 — currently 600,000+ servers and 3.7M monthly users.
